We are helping children attend school by providing tuition, daily meals, uniforms, shoes and school supplies. For a yearly gift of $500, one child will be registered for school. For $50 per month, you can feed a student each school day. For a one-time donation of $50, you can provide a uniform and a pair of shoes. $50 will help with a backpack and a student’s school supplies.

With 75% of Liberians having very little or no access to clean and free drinking water, we continue to raise funds to provide water wells in communities that have been affected by waterborne illnesses such as diarrhea, dysentery and cholera. Each well costs approximately $3,000 CAD. We have a local Liberian team who are always ready and willing to help us when the next village is in need.

At the Community of Hope, we have an amazing poultry farm. We are providing eggs and chickens to thousands of people in the local community. We also provide bags of rice to those in need in places like the FDA blind community, a leper colony, and remote access villages. One baby chick with all their immunizations costs $10. For a gift of $25, a family receives a bag of rice that will feed them for a month.

The Statistics
1 in 10
The statistics are astounding—1 in 10 women in Liberia will die during pregnancy, birth or shortly thereafter. Outside North America, one of the leading causes of death in women is pregnancy or birth-related. Often times, these children are abandoned with no one to care for the baby. This orphanage will be the difference between life and death for many of these children.
The children who will be welcomed here will be home. They will have a mother and father who will look after them. They will also be able to attend our school just a few metres away where they will receive an education and daily meals.
