While being enrolled as a student in school is a huge advantage for these children, clothing is a struggle for many families. Most kids wear hand-me-downs from multiple generations. They are generally torn and faded garments. This project ensures that every child is on equal ground by having the same new, high-quality uniform.
Here are just some of the many humanitarian aid projects we’re doing in Liberia:
- Building Water Wells
- Providing Food and Clothing for the Needy
- School Supplies for Children (Backpacks, Uniforms, Shoes)
- Tuition and School Registration Fees
- Helping a Community of Blind and Visually Impaired
You can make a general donation that will be put to use where it’s most needed.
For Christmas we are doing up #ChristmasCareKits for children and grownups alike. Children will receive a new toy, two sets of clothing and some sweet treats. Many of the children we’re helping live in an orphanage and have never received a new gift. Grown ups will receive cooking utensils and a pot, some dried fish, cooking oil and coal. For many, our help is the only help they will receive, especially within the blind community where they have felt abandoned, forgotten and alone. Help us provide them with a wonderful Christmas experience! One Christmas Care Kit is $50 per child or adult.
